INTRODUCTION

The ESSARP Enterprise Challenge is a business management simulation game organized by ESSARP with the following objectives:

•    To stimulate entrepreneurial spirit and disseminate entrepreneurial culture

•    To develop management training in small and medium-sized businesses

•    To provide participants with a simulated experience of managing a company

•    To develop teamwork skills

The simulator will provide participants with the information they need to make decisions, considering the situation of their own company and the context in which they are competing. Participating teams will make decisions which will award them points towards best management practices, and these points will determine the winners.

The game can be accessed via the website eec.gameroi.com using the username and password chosen by the participant at the time of registration.

For more details on how the game works, participants can consult the online tutorial at: eec.gameroi.com

Registration

Registration of school teams will be carried out on a first-come, first-served basis exclusively on the game’s official site between 23-30 October 2026 and by the school teacher, making sure that the following information is completed:

-    The three team members’ complete names

-    School name

-    Virtual company name

-    Username and password

A participant may not be part of two (2) teams, that is, they may not manage more than one virtual company at the same time.

It is mandatory to read the game tutorial.

Registration for the competition, which can only be done by clicking ‘I accept’ on the registration screen, necessarily implies full and irrevocable acceptance of all the terms, conditions and clauses of these rules.

Communication between participants and the General Coordination team can be carried out via WhatsApp +54911.4970.3007.

The Game

The Game is divided into four (4) rounds where each team competes with other virtual companies in the system.

The Game uses management software that, during the competition, will assess the teams' decisions in contexts that simulate the reality of the virtual market. This assessment will result in a score for each company after each round, generating a game ranking with the other participants based on the value of their business at that time.

Once the 4 virtual rounds are over, the ranking will showcase the winning team.

How are scores awarded?

Each company's performance in the game will be assessed on variables related to:

Profitability

• Profit/loss for the period

• Accumulated profit/loss

• Profit distribution

Market share

• Market share by quantity

• Market share by revenue

Risk

• Liquidity

• Solvency

In the event of a tie in the round, the cumulative score in the overall ranking will be considered. If the tie persists, it will be decided by the cumulative score up to the next round in the overall ranking. For example, if participants A and B tie in the results obtained in Round No. 2, with 5 points each, the cumulative result in the overall ranking up to Round No. 2 will be considered. In other words, if participant A obtained 3 points in Round No. 1 and participant B obtained 4 points in Round No. 1, the cumulative overall ranking for Round No. will be 8 points for participant A and 9 points for participant B, meaning that participant B will be the winner. If the tie persists, the cumulative result in the overall ranking of those tied in Round No. 3 will be considered, and so on until the tie is broken.

All information about the decisions made by the teams will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to the other teams.

All money handled within the game is virtual and therefore cannot be exchanged for legal tender under any circumstances.

Game Coordination

The game will be coordinated by a ‘Coordination Committee’ which will have jurisdiction over all aspects of the game. The decisions made by the Coordination Committee will be final.

Start of the game

On 02 November at 8:00 a.m., participants may log in to eec.gameroi.com to start the first round of the game.

Decision making deadlines

Teams are responsible for making decisions for the first round before 5:00 p.m. on 06 November 2026. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from subsequent rounds.

Teams can consult or receive advice from their Business Studies or Enterprise teachers. We kindly ask teachers to refrain from providing their students with direct answers or concrete business strategies. We appeal to their ability to pose questions that can help them revisit a problem from a different perspective.

ROUND DEADLINES:

1st: 02 November to 06 November 2026

2nd: 9 November to 13 November 2026

3rd: 16 November to 20 November 2026

4th: 23 November to 27 November 2026

Once the four rounds are completed, the ranking will show the winning team.
